SINCERELY,
QUEEN.

About: Welcome

ABOUT

This is a safe place for sex education.

Sex and kink education as well as a healing guide.

I am Quinn (she/her), a 00' baby from Malaysia. I am an artist and content creator, currently working in an NGO related to women's rights. Sincerely, Queen is my passion project and I like to call it my life project.

Being truthful is the value I stand for. I will try my best to create my content as honest and transparent as possible, I want to share my own experience as a young adult, from Malaysian to Malaysian.

Sex is taboo in my culture. Sex is filled with tons of myths, lack of discussion on this topic only make things worst. Sex has been a casual topic for me talking to my friends, and from there I found out many have had very wrong knowledge about sex & relationship. Many young adults around me extremely lack knowledge on sexual health & mental health aid in Malaysia. Many have no place to reach out to, lack resources to understand their situations, think we are not normal because we aren’t portraited on media. So I am here to change that. I want to clear things out for YOU with this safe place to write about all the things YOU are too afraid to ask.

Being the only daughter from a conservative, religious, traditional family made my journey of studying sexuality very challenging. When I was 11, I started researching sexuality because my parents wouldn’t tell me more when I ask. Just like any other kid, I was curious, I want to learn more. I want to be a sexologist when I was 15, gynaecology and clinical psychology when I was 17, animated film producer when I was 20.

My mom teaches me about sex ed as early and as young as I can remember. She taught me the correct names for my body parts, how to take care of my hygiene, what is sexual harassment (ex, no one is allowed to touch my private parts). When a sex scene comes up on TV, my mom will take the opportunity to educate, that is sex, and she also calls that make love because I can only do that with my loved one AKA, my husband. So my parents are very wise in approaching bee talk but conservative as in I am not allowed to hang out with guy friend(s) and no sex until I'm married. I respect their POV but forbidding someone's freedom of choice is wrong.

I major in 3d animation. graduated in April 2021. I was burnt out, an old friend reminded me of my purpose in life. A kind soul reaches out to me, motivating me to start this page. I want to create art, spread crucial information & discuss “sensitive” topics with YOU. I want to talk about social issues, mental health, feminism, sexuality, politics, economy, laws and topics we often avoid. I want to be the reason people start asking difficult questions, right the wrong, start doing research, acknowledge everyone is different but not so different at the same time, have a  peaceful relationship with their body & mind.

In 2020, I filled up my Instagram feed with empowering pages, talking about feminism, self-love, mental health, sexual health. I was inspired, they make me feel like I can be part of the movement to do something, even change the world. I love to listen to others' stories. I want to be the someone I am looking for when I was lost.

A kind online stranger helped me years ago. Now I want to help others. I want to change the world with kindness, one soul at a time. A friend of mine said, as long as everyone on the planet can help at least one other person, the world would be an amazing place. And the way to educate is through example.

We blame society for a lot of things, but we forgot that we are a society. We wait for someone to change the world, but we are someone too. We can be the “someone” and be the “society” to change the world too!

Friendly reminder: You don’t have to productive 24/7. You are allowed to rest. You did great sweetie, don’t be so hard on yourself. We are still in a pandemic. It is ok to feel not ok. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for joining my journey. I am so happy to do what I love, creating art, doing research and helping others. Sincerely, Quinn.
